The Global Therapist Alliance (GTA) Foundation is seeking a skilled Independent Statistician (Contractor) to support the design and development of upcoming research studies. This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to impactful research that promotes accessibility, cultural humility, and innovation in the field of mental health.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with GTA researchers and leadership to design research frameworks.
Provide statistical expertise in study design, methodology, and analysis planning.
Recommend appropriate sample sizes, measurement tools, and analytical approaches.
Draft statistical sections for research proposals, study protocols, and final reports.
Ensure data integrity and methodological rigor across all research phases.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Statistics, Biostatistics, Quantitative Psychology, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in designing and analyzing research studies (experience in mental health or social sciences preferred).
Proficiency in one or more statistical software tools:
SPSS, R, Python, SAS, or Stata.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts to non-specialists.
Experience with academic writing and peer-reviewed publications is a plus.
Contract Details:
Position Type: Independent contractor (remote).
